This website (the “Site”) is operated by the Joy in Blue Foundation. We reserve the right to modify this privacy policy at any time, so please review it frequently. Changes and clarifications will take effect immediately upon their posting on the website. 

1. What Information Do We Collect and What Do We Do With It? 

We may collect certain personal information about you, including your name, email address, phone number and mailing address. Your information will be used by us to respond to your queries, process and fulfill grant applications, and improve your experience on the Site. We may use cookies to assist with facilitating your use of the website and to improve the website. Web page access may be recorded in a log file. The contents of the log file may be analyzed to determine, among other things, how many visitors access the website, what web pages are viewed and the quantity of views, the date and time a visitor accesses the website, domain, internet address and browser information, search terms and the geographical area of where the website is viewed. 

2. Disclosure.  

We will not give or sell your information to third parties for the purpose of marketing other goods and or services to you. We may disclose your personal information if we are required by law to do so. Grantee identities must be disclosed on our annual informational return (Form 990 PF) which is filed with the Internal Revenue Service and made available to the public through Guidestar.org.

In general, the third-party providers used by us will only collect, use and disclose your information to the extent necessary to allow them to perform the services they provide to us.

However, certain third-party service providers, such as payment transaction processors, have their own privacy policies with respect to the information we are required to provide to them. Some providers may be located in or have facilities that are located a different jurisdiction than either you or us. If you elect to proceed with a transaction that involves the services of a third-party service provider, then your information may become subject to the laws of the jurisdiction(s) in which that service provider or its facilities are located. As an example, if you are located in, Canada and your transaction is processed by a payment gateway located in the United States, then your personal information used in completing that transaction may be subject to disclosure under United States legislation, including the Patriot Act. Once you leave our website or are redirected to a third-party website or application, you are no longer governed by this Privacy Policy.
